Oakland Sharp is a pickup & delivery knife and blade sharpening service in the Redwood Heights district. The standard turnaround time is 48-72 hours, depending on demand. Premium services are available.



​About Me: 
​Hello! My name is Grant. I'm an Oakland local looking to make your knives and tools sharp! I've been sharpening knives for my family, friends, and myself since 2009. I'd like to share this skill with the greater Oakland and Montclair areas.

​My goal is to return the knives to you with minimal steel removal while still achieving a razor's edge. If you ever have any questions, ask away!

​​Pricing & Rates
Plain edge & Serrated $3 per inch 
Folding Knives: $5 per inch 
Garden tools: $10-40  ​
Same Day Service: 30% surcharge, more details below

Specialty additions

 - Large things: Axes, hatchets, large/heavy garden tools. These start at $20. Additional cost is determined case by case. For instance hatchet with major chip repair will cost more than a clean machete that just requires a bit of sharpening.

 - Same Day Service: My regular turnaround time is about 48hrs. For same day service, knives must be dropped off before 11:00am and has a 30% surcharge.

​Limits
Unfortunately, I cannot sharpen items like large swords at this time.
